Hi! I'm Kasey Lam, the heart behind Ace of Hearts Events!
My journey into the world of weddings and events has been anything but traditional, but every step has led me to where I am today: helping couples celebrate their love with unforgettable experiences. I hold a Bachelor of Science from San Diego State University in Hospitality and Tourism Management, with a focus on event, convention, and attraction management. Though weddings weren’t originally part of my plan—I dreamed of organizing large-scale events—I’ve fallen head over heels for this world of love stories, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
​Ace of Hearts is a nod to my maiden name, Aceituno, which means olive in Spanish. Everyone in my family has embraced the nickname “Ace” at one point, so it was only fitting to let it inspire my brand. I’m also a wanderlust-filled adventurer who has traveled to more countries than states and loves incorporating unique, worldly touches into events. A California native turned mountain dweller, I followed my heart to Vail, met my mountain man, and never looked back.

Beyond weddings, my experience spans nearly every corner of the Food & Beverage industry—I've done it all, from hostessing at 16 to owning a restaurant for a short but exciting stint. I’ve even run five marathons (so trust me, I can go the extra mile for your big day). Planning, theming, and making people feel special are my superpowers; just ask my family about the countless themed parties I’ve thrown for them. And when I’m not working with Ace of Hearts clients, you’ll find me as the Event Sales Coordinator at the iconic Minturn Saloon, where I also help make wedding dreams come true.
